Pengembangan Bahan Ajar IPA Terpadu Berbasis Inkuiri Terbimbing dengan Pictorial Riddle Materi Sistem Pernapasan Manusia Kelas VIII SMP

Based on a theory, inqury  pictorial riddle approach consist of five stages namely in formulating the problem, make hypothesis, collect the data, test the hypothesis, and make conclusions. It is believed can improve student’s intellectual. This research intended to develop inquiry pictorial riddle-based students book on topic of the respiration system of human for VIII grade of junior high school. This research refered to Borg and Gall (1983) model, but it was restricted in  the  fifth  step (research and information collecting,  planning, develop prelminary form of product, preliminary field testing, main product revision). This research assesed by six validators for assess the quality of the book and twelve students in preliminary field testing. Data was obtained from student and teacher questionnaires, validator sheets, questionnaires of the readability test and difficulty level, and student’s response questionnaires. The result of this research showed that inquiry pictorial riddle-based student book is valid, with validation average from all validators 88,16% and the result of the readability test and difficulty level are 82,18% and 82,86% which positive respons.
